About Dr. Smaranika Das
Dr. Smaranika Das, MPT (Orthopaedics and Sports Injury), MIAP, D Acu, COMT, MIAFT, is a highly experienced physiotherapist with over 16 years of expertise in rehabilitation and physiotherapy care. She is also a certified Women’s Health Rehabilitation Practitioner from WOW IIPRE and currently serves as the State Coordinator for the IAP Women Cell, Goa.
Dr. Smaranika specializes in a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, including orthopedic rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, women’s health physiotherapy, geriatric rehabilitation, pediatric physiotherapy, cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, and oncological rehabilitation. Her treatment approach focuses on evidence-based care, functional recovery, pain management, mobility restoration, and patient-centered rehabilitation across all age groups. She has extensive experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, antenatal and postnatal care, pediatric developmental issues, respiratory rehabilitation, and cancer recovery support.
Throughout her career, Dr. Smaranika has been recognized for her academic and professional excellence, receiving awards such as the Gold Medalist Award (2007), Best Outgoing Student (2010), Physiotherapy Social Impact Award, and the Speaker’s Appreciation Award at the Indian International Physiotherapy Congress, Goa.
She has actively contributed to the field through numerous conference presentations, public health talks, media interactions, articles, and awareness programs across India, particularly in areas such as women’s health, oncology physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, ergonomics, marathon fitness, and pediatric physiotherapy. Her work reflects a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and community healthcare awareness.
