About Perimenopause

Perimenopause is the transitional phase leading up to menopause, during which a woman’s hormone levels—particularly estrogen and progesterone—begin to fluctuate. This stage can start several years before menopause and may last for an extended period, bringing about various physical and emotional changes such as irregular menstrual cycles, hot flashes, mood swings, sleep disturbances, and changes in metabolism.
